Beautiful. Thank you so much for this video Arlene. You are an amazing woman!
Thank you Kelley! I’m so glad you were able to watch and listen. All the best to you!
When u r chronically ill, what can you do to show your spouse u care? #iiwk12 #invisibleillnessweek http://t.co/TNC4m5XO
I try to show my husband how much I care by doing the little things- such as making his lunch when I can, or when I feel well enough do some of the chousehold chores he normally has to do now. I try to set aside time for him to go and do fun things with other people- like playing poker with the guys. He needs to escape sometimes as much as I do. I tell him thank you, and that I love him, How sexy he looks while doing the housework:)
Arlene and Lisa thank you! your talk was so amazing. I so appreciate your wisdom and insight. Thoughts on health and marriage when dealing with chronic pain were so helpful. I know I will be listening to this again! God bless you.
I’ve been dealing with severe chronic pain and physical restrictions for 12 years. Yes, it has forced changes in my relationship with my husband and son but for the better.
Since I was unable to work I stayed home, homeschooled our son and invested the much needed time in our marriage.
It hasn’t always been easy since my husband and I have had to make changes in our physical relationship but we remember our vows daily, “…in sickness and in health..”
Besides, we love each other deeply! Oh, we do kiss each other as much as possible!
