man-woman-computerWhat is a Virtual Conference?

The highlight of National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week is our 5-day Virtual Conference. With four speakers per day giving special presentations and taking calls from you on the phone, this is an interactive, encouraging, and educational forum that will leave you feeling refreshed and hopeful that chronic illness doesn’t have to define who you are!

What are some of the special perks?
It’s free! Entirely! We don’t have an admission fee. That is 20 solid hours of transformational seminars without spending any money. If you love it, feel it’s helpful and you are able to give, we appreciate and need your donations, but you don’t have to buy a ticket!

No traveling!
No walking! No getting stuck in the elevator or having to miss part of the conference because you need to take a nap. (It’s all recorded and archived, so you can take that nap and listen later.)

Listen in your pajamas!
Not only can you skip the make up, you don’t even have to get dressed if you don’t feel like it!

You don’t have to worry about hard hotel chairs, having someone sit beside you and sneeze, or being tempted by the donuts at break time. Stock up on some healthy snacks and lunches and pull out your favorite pillows and you are ready to go.

Share it with a friend!

Have you been wanting to encourage someone who lives with illness? Or maybe minister to one who is hurting, but didn’t know where to start? Pick a couple workshops you think she may enjoy and invite her over to listen and have a snack. It’s a great way to break the ice.

Share it with your support group!
You may want to choose your favorite workshops later and play them at a series of meetings. Or if most of your group is online, tell them to listen in advance and then be prepared to talk about the topic at the next meeting. Let us know your ideas.

No childcare is needed!
Well, maybe it depends on the child, but if you miss something, the archived version will be there later.
