Here you go! Feel free to copy, edit, change in whatever way to meet your needs.
September 9-15, 2013 is National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week. This annual event, started in 2002 by Lisa Copen, features a variety of ways to get involved including some chat sessions September 9-13 online with special guests.
2013′s theme is I CHOOSE TO. . . (fill in the blank.) “Invisible illness isn’t a choice, but I choose to ___________!” This is a chance for participants to upload photos that show what they choose. Do you choose to inspire others, pamper yourself the day after an infusion, get together with friends even if you may pay for it the next day physically? Do you choose to work, or keep driving? Tell us!
There is a Meme “30 Things You May Not Know About My Invisible Illness”, you can sign up to blog for the cause, read guest bloggers’ posts, and get involved in the campaign on Facebook. There is even a free 80-page ebook when you sign up for email updates, with 263 tips!
With nearly 1 in 2 people living with a chronic condition, about 96% of those people are suffering silently with invisible illnesses. See InvisibleIllnessWeek.com
